There are 64 strategically placed sand bunkers on the course. The back nine features the occasional sea breeze. A few holes feature elevated greens, making it ideal for people who love the game.
While golf course layouts are not particularly exciting, Arcadian Shores is an exception. The par-4 13th is a great eye-opener and is often used for photos. The finishing stretch of holes is also much fun, although the lack of a sweeping green plot at the end of the course makes the routing somewhat mediocre compared to other courses in the area. However, the course does score well against many of its competitors.
